Myth #1: Staffing agencies only do temporary jobs. I want a “real job”—something permanent.
Reality: This is false. While Emerald Staffing does offer many temporary positions, the majority of what we do is temp-to-hire, contract, and direct hire. And many of our temporary jobs turn into something long-lasting and permanent. The jobs that are offered through our agency are completely bona fide. We work with companies big and small that have a lot to offer. And seriously, our clients are AWESOME.
Myth #2: Staffing agencies charge a fee. I don’t want to pay money to get a job.
Reality: Nope. That would be lame. Our services are completely free of charge to anyone and everyone seeking employment though us. Companies pay us to find talented individuals, such as yourself, to join their team. The only kind of payment from you that we ask for is your rockstar personality and amazing work ethic.
Myth #3: The majority of the positions that are offered through staffing agencies don’t pay well.
Reality: Just like any position within a company, pay will commensurate with experience. If you are fresh out of college with little to no experience, chances are that you might only be qualified for something entry level. The positions we offer are anywhere from entry level to higher level positions with more responsibilities and a high level of pay. As aforementioned, we have some pretty awesome clients who are willing to pay when it comes to excellent talent.
